YCL MEETING 2 - NOTES
FIRESIDES
We planned out our four stake firesides
1 - Lip Sync - tie to scriptures and/or light theme
2 - Guest Speaker with time for questions
3 - Star Gazing, Personal Reflection, & Testimonies
4 - "You Are Special" Skit & Spiritual Thought
CLASSES REMINDER
ALL YCLs - Please make sure you have signed up to help plan a class! (See email from Sis Smith for sign up link, and more info below about each class).
The stake leaders will be reaching out to the girls in their YCL groups soon to start planning the classes together.
WELCOME ACTIVITIES
YCLs will be in charge of some welcome activities to help kick off camp in a fun way. We will create a group of YCLs to help plan and run these activities. Stay tuned for more information and a way to sign up if you're interested in helping be a part of this.
YCL MEETING 1 - PLANNING SESSION NOTES
CAMP THEME
LOOK UNTO CHRIST will be the main theme for camp this year.
The focus of the theme will relate to stars/constellations and how Christ is the North Star for us to follow. As we come unto Him and become like Him we can all be bright stars and shine in His way.
CONSTELLATIONS
Each ward's group name is based on a constellation!
YCLs - Leo
Beavercreek 1st Ward - Orion
Beavercreek 2nd Ward - Pegasus
Fairborn/Wilmington Ward - Delphinus
Springboro Ward - Ares
Xenia Ward - Andromeda
CLASSES
Each YCL will be part of a counsel that will help plan the classes with the adult leader who will be in charge of the class. The adult leader will run the class, based on the input from the YCLs in each counsel. At camp, the YCLs will rotate with the groups through each of the classes, except for a few select YCLs that have volunteered to stay and teach certain classes.

Physical - Hike
Survival - Orienteering / Treasure Hunt
Friendship - Speed Friendshipping / Tea Party
Talent/Skill - Constellation Lanterns
